Products Description
IEC 60335-2-9 Durability Test Equipment For Mechanically Clamped Toasters
Product Overview:
1.1 Applied standards and applications
The bakery machine durability test equipment for abnormal operation conforms to IEC 60335-2-9 clause 19.101. It is used to test the durability of toasters under abnormal operation.
1.2 Test principle
The toaster is operated at rated input power and normal operation, but without bread, for six cycles and then the toaster is forced to cool to approximately room temperature. The test is performed 500 times. The ejector mechanism shall operate satisfactorily without sustained arcing. Electrical connections shall not be loose and the equipment shall be capable of withstanding the electrical strength test of IEC 60335-2-9 Standard 16.3.
1.3 Features
Adopts multi-functional universal fixture, which can clamp different samples with high versatility. Suitable for testing most toasters.
Real-time display of the number of operation cycles, test time, temperature and current. After reaching the preset test time, the test equipment can stop the test automatically.
Technical Parameters:
Input Power Supply
Single-phase AC 220V, 50Hz or according to customer's local power supply requirements.
Test Station
Single
Electrical Control Method
Button control

Electrical
Sample Clamping Method
Mechanical clamping, the position of clamping points are adjustable
Cooling Method
Forced cooling by high-power cooling fan
Temperature Measuring Device
An infrared temperature measurement system that initiates the next test when the infrared probe detects that the temperature has cooled to the set temperature.
Interval Time of Pushing Switch
0-99.9s, can be preset
Operation Cycles
0-9999, can be preset, default 6 cycles
Test Times
0-9999,can be preset, default 500 times
Current Detecting Device
It is equipped with a device that automatically detects the working current of the specimen: the upper and lower limits of the current detection can be adjusted and an indicator light shows the status.
Operation steps:
A. Preset the interval, test cycle and test time, preset the room temperature and press [RESET].
B. Insert the specimen plug into the socket of the test equipment, press the START button to start the timer, and when the interval display reaches the set value, the switch operator goes out. The system calculates one test cycle. When the switch operator turns on the toaster switch and the toaster begins to heat, the switch operator runs up to the upper limit position. After completing the preset test cycles (default 6), the system calculates the test time and turns on the fan to cool the toaster. After the test time reaches the preset value, the test equipment will stop testing.
