Specimen and limitations: Finished flexible cables, TUV, VDE, UL and other highly flexible cables.

 

Test purpose: It is used for bending mechanical strength test of finished flexible cables. This test is not applicable to cables with more than two concentric layers whose nominal conductor cross-section exceeds 18 cores.

 

Test principle: The 5m long sample moves back and forth within a 1m stroke through a pair of pulleys to achieve the bending test of wires and cables. By switching the two- and three-wheel clamps and adjusting the running speed, the two-wheel and three-wheel bending tests of cable samples can be achieved.
