Product overview:
The medical mask synthetic blood penetration tester is used to measure the jet penetration performance of liquid sources such as synthetic blood to evaluate mask’s safety protection performance. Mainly used to test the permeability of masks to blood, body fluids, blood pathogens (tested with Phi-X174 antibiotics), synthetic blood and other liquids. It is suitable for liquid penetration resistance of protective equipment such as masks, gloves, protective clothing, outer cover, coveralls, boots and other protective equipment. This equipment can output test report and save test data.
Test method:
The medical mask sample is supported on the test device, and 2mL of synthetic blood with a surface tension of 0.042 ± 0.002n / m is sprayed from a cannula with an inner diameter of 0.84mm at a distance of 300mm to the mask under test at a pressure of 16kpa in the horizontal direction. Simulate the scene of the mask being splashed by blood from the perforated blood vessel. Take off and visually check the penetration of synthetic blood on the other side of the mask within 10 seconds. Test the medical mask with the corresponding liquid jet pressure of 450cm / s, 550cm / s, 635cm / s, record the test result of each jet velocity, give out the highest blood pressure corresponding to the acceptable quality level limit of 4 for medical masks.
