Product Overview:
This abrasion resistance test equipment for flow-through hoses is in accordance with IEC 60335-2-2, Article 21.102, Figure 101. It is suitable for testing the abrasion resistance of flow-through hoses for vacuum cleaners or suction cleaning equipment.

Test Procesures (Extracted from IEC 60335-2-2 clause 21.102):
One end of the hose is attached to the connecting rod of the crank mechanism shown in Figure 101. The crank rotates at 30 revolutions per minute causing the end of the hose to move horizontally back and forth 300 mm.
The hose is supported by a rotating smooth roller with a belt of abrasive cloth moving at a speed of 0.1 meters per minute. The abrasive is corundum grit P 100 according to ISO 6344-2. A 1 kg mass block is suspended from the other end of the hose, which is guided to avoid rotation.
In the lowest position, the maximum distance between the mass and the center of the drum is 600 mm.
The test crank is turned 100 times.
After the test, the basic insulation shall not be exposed and the electrical strength test according to Clause 16.3 shall be carried out between the connected conductors and the salt solution.
How to install the specimen?
Attach one end of the hose to the connecting rod of the crank mechanism and hang a 1 kg weight on the other end of the hose, which is guided to avoid rotation.
