Products Description
IEC 60335 clause 22.11 Figure 7 Test Finger Nail With 50N Built - In Force
Product Overview:
The test fingernail confirms to the standard of IEC60335-1 clause 21.2, clause 22.11, Figure 7, etc. It is used to test non-detachable parts that protect against access to live parts, moisture or contact with moving parts shall be fixed in a reliable manner and withstand the mechanical stress occurring during normal use. Snap-in devices used for fixing such parts shall have an obvious locked position. It is dispensable for the electrical testing departments.
Technical Parameters:
Please refer to the relevant standards.
Take IEC60335-1 clause 21.2 as an example:
The test fingernail of Figure 7 is then applied to the scratched surface with a force of approximately 10 N.
The force is applied by pushing the top surface of the handle to the specific force scale line.
For verifying whether LIVE PARTS touched, the probe is equipped with an alligator clip, recommended to work with our anti-shock probe experiment device or a 40~50V voltage indicator. Showing as following reference pictures:
Notice:
1. Please do not damage the appliance shape (such as scratching, bending, etc.).
2. Prevented from dust and moisture environment, in order to avoid the oxidation to affect the dimensional accuracy.
3. Be careful of electric shock.
