Products Description
IEC 61851-1 Figure V.2 Jointed Test Probe For Electric Vehicle Conductive Charging System Test
Product information:
This is a precision test finger made in accordance with IEC 61851-1 clause 8 and 12.4, IEC 62368-1:2018 clause 5.3.2, 8.5.4.3, V.1.2 and figure V.2, IEC60884-1:2013 clause 10.1, 16.2, IEC 60669-1: 2017 Clause 10.1 &13.3.3 &20.1 &21.1, etc. This probe is intended to verify the basic protection against access to hazardous parts. It is also used to verify the protection against access with a finger. This test finger probe consists of dito, finger, base and insulated handle which simulates the characteristics of the human hand. It has two movable joints, which can be curved at 90°.
It is intended to verify the basic protection against access to hazardous parts. It is also used to verify the protection against accessing with a finger. It complies with the standard IEC 61032 figure 2, it’s a special instrument for household and similar electrical appliances’ enclosure against electric shock test, an essential lab tool for the quality inspection departments and research institutions to detect relevant household appliances product safety performance.

1. Please refer to relative standard requirements, take IEC 60335-1 clause 8.1.1 as an example: Test probe B of IEC 61032 is applied with a force not exceeding 1N, the appliance being in every possible position except that appliance normally used on the floor and having a mass exceeding 40 kg are not tilted. Through openings, the test probe is applied to any depth that the prone will permit and is rotated or angled before, during and after insertion to any position. If the opening does not allow the entry of the probe, the force on the probe in the straight position is increased to 20 N. If the probe then enters the opening, the test is repeated with the probe in the angled position. It shall not be possible to touch live parts or live parts protected only by lacquer, enamel, ordinary paper, cotton, oxide film, beads, or sealing compound except self-hardening resins, with the probe.
2. If the test requires applying the test probe B with specific force, it needs to work with a force gauge. Please screw the force gauge connector into the M6 thread hole on the end of the handle.
3. For verifying whether LIVE PARTS touched, it requires working with an anti-shock probe experiment device: it is connected to the anti-shock probe experiment device (40V-50V), then operator processes the test according to the relative standard, the buzzer ringing means electric shock prompted.
