Products Description
IEC60332-1-2 Stainless Steel Test Chamber For Vertical Burning Of Single Insulated Wires Or Cables
Overview:
The flammability test chamber adopts integral inlet ignition system with 0.1 second delay in combustion time to ensure that the gas has sufficient combustion time. Black matt background colour, multi-function flame measuring instrument, all stainless steel chamber, oversized observation window, imported high-precision digital indicator, beautiful and generous. The flame test apparatus meets the requirements of : IEC60332-1-1:2015, IEC60332-1-2:2015, IEC60332-1-3:2015 etc.
Principle:
This chamber is designed as a test procedure for evaluating the falling droplets/particles of landmark vertical electrically insulated conductors or cables or fibre optic cables under specified fire conditions by using a 1 kW pre-mixed flame.

How to position of test piece?
The specimen shall be straightened and secured with appropriately sized copper wire to two horizontal supports placed vertically in the centre of the metal so that the distance between the bottom of the upper support and the top of the lower support is (550 ± 5) mm. In addition, the optimum specimen position should be such that the bottom of the specimen is approximately 50 mm from the bottom of the housing. The vertical axis of the specimen should be at the centre of the enclosure (i.e. 150 mm on each side and 225 mm at the rear).
KingPo's technical team is well aware of the requirements of flammability testing. In addition to providing a wide range of flammability test chambers, Sinor can also provide customers with the whole combustion laboratory construction programme. Sirona team can well plan the equipment layout, ventilation and exhaust, gas piping, and safety measures of the combustion lab.
