IEC60335 Single Station Motorized Cleaning Heads Free Fall Test Apparatus
Products Description
IEC60335 High Quality Single Station Motorized Cleaning Heads Free Fall Test Apparatus
Conformity with standards and terms:
Conforms to IEC60335-2-3:2005 "Electrical appliances for domestic and similar purposes - Safety - Part 2-3: Particular requirements for electric irons", clause 21.101.
Test Usage:
Used to test the mechanical strength of electric irons under normal operating conditions and rated input power, also used to test the electric blanket control device drop resistance performance.
Equipment introduction:
By means of a servomotor-driven cam mechanism, the iron (except for cordless irons) is suspended by the handle with the soleplate in a horizontal position. The iron is dropped from a height of 40 mm onto a rigidly supported steel plate with a thickness of at least 15 mm and a mass of at least 15 kg. The test is performed 1000 times at a rate not exceeding 20 times per minute. During the test, the iron remains on the steel plate for approximately 15% of the time.

IEC60335-2-2:2019 clause 15.101
Test requirements (extracted from IEC 60335-2-2: 2019 clause 15.101):
The motorized cleaning head is subjected to the IEC 60068-2-31 Free Fall - Procedure 1 test. 4000 drops from a height of 100 mm onto a steel plate not less than 15 mm thick.
-1000 drops on the right side,
-1000 drops on the front side,
-1000 drops on its clean surface.
For checking the mechanical strength of electric irons under normal operating conditions and rated input power, and for testing the drop resistance of electric blanket controls.
Press the "Start" button, the downward moving fixture position will rise to the highest point, this is the adjustment method: preset "0" times, then press the "Start" button, the fixture will rise to the highest point. Connect the lower end of the sling to the specimen, parallel to the base plate, place a cylinder with a height of 100 mm under the specimen, tauten the sling so that it is in tension, then clamp the sling device and remove the cylinder with a height of 100 mm.
