This probe is taken from IEC61032 figure 4 but only 20mm±0.2mm length, required by IEC 62368-1:2018 Annex V.1.6,. This rod probe is intended to verify the protection of persons against access to hazardous parts. It is also used to verify the protection against access with a wire.

Operation Steps:
Please refer to the relevant standards. The rigid test wire of the test probe of Figure V.5 is inserted into the applicable opening with a force up to 1N±0.1N and with the length limited to 20mm±0.2mm. While inserted, the probe is moved in any angle with minimal force.
