The testing device is designed and manufactured to do the drop impact performance test of the enclosure in accordance with the standard requirements of the IEC598.1 and IEC60950.1. Two impact forms can be achieved through this apparatus. That is vertical drop impact and swing horizontal impact. It has the advantages of accurate performance and convenient operation as well as reasonable layout.

1, The impact steel ball:Φ50mm,500±25g (it can be customized)；

2, The dropping height:0.5-1.5m is adjustable.

Test preparation:

The sample is fixed according to the normal position, and make sure the support surface is rigid enough, the ground surface and the wall surface are preferred.

The device is connected to the 220V power supply, and select the fall down mode according to the specemen: Vertical drop or swing impact.

When doing the vertical drop impact test, vertical ball drop, as shown in the following picture, choose a vertical ball, one end of the steel wire rope is hanged on the hook, steel ball vertical state is just contact to the test level surface, and then make it drop 100mm according to the scale, then the dropping height is 1300mm, then the steel ball is placed in the vertical release electricity magnet card. Fixed the brake apparatus on the wheel to prevent the device moving

Pendulum impact test, select the horizontal ball, one end of the steel wire rope is hanged on the hook, the horizontal ball is placed on the horizontal release electricity magnet card, then move the hook seat to make the steel wire rope is very straight, and locking the hook seat. Then make the steel ball’s horizontal state is just contact to the test vertical surface (the impact height can be controlled by remote control), place the steel ball on the horizontal release electricity magnet card agian. Fixed the brake apparatus on the wheel to prevent the device moving

Test operation:

After the preparation work, press the release button on the remote control of the horizontal ball release / vertical ball release, then proceeding the ball swing / vertical impact test. After the test, according to the standard requirements to determine whether the test sample pass or not.

Maintenance:

1. Because the equipment is made of metal, it should be used in the dust and damp proof environment.

2. Turn off the power after the test, take off the release steel ball.
